CLEAN UP!!!
The way you do anything is the way you’ll do everything.
I’m a tidy person, and I like my space pretty organised. If you visit me and move things around, you’ll destabilise me for a bit, so I like to tell my guests to use whatever they want in mine, but leave it exactly at the place they picked it, and in the order it was in.
The Holy Spirit was speaking to me the other day while I cleaned my place, how faithfulness in little things matter.
You may feel that when I get to the top, I’ll start fixing things better. What you fail to realize is that with every passing day, with the habits you have and feed, you’re forming the exact person you’ll be anywhere you find yourself. You won’t be different at all when you get to a better place, but the exact person you’re now except you begin to change what you do in the present.
Another facet of this is that you may not be given much if you can’t handle the little you have now. When you’re diligent in that little room where you live by keeping it clean, free of cobwebs, doing your laundry regularly, and washing your WC, then you can be ready for a 3-bedroom flat or a duplex.
You prepare for who you want to be tomorrow, today!
You won’t change when you get there...remember this and build character and habits that will be with you in any position you find yourself in life.
